Our Pub Ale range is all about celebrating the bitters, bests and beyond that make the British pub such a timeless masterpiece of our cultural heritage.

Right at the top of the style pile you'll find the ESB. The 'E' standing for 'Extra' Special Bitter. So for the 5th year running here is ours. The annual ode to the pub, to open fires, dimpled pots, dogs in pubs and sheltering from the elements in your local inn. It's a premium bitter based on our signature Pub Ale: Best. Upgraded with a hit of extra coloured malt, a deeper bittering and the finishing garnish of a dry hop addition to ensure its ‘extra’ credentials.

A winter warmer, a cuddle in a cask for the darker, colder nights.

VISUAL: A deep bright copper ale with a light foam head
AROMA: Malt aromas dominate with a touch of bramble and spice on the nose
TASTE: Pleasingly malt forward w, sweet toffee flavours & some of the more higher end roasty notes, followed by prickling Bramling Cross bitterness to cut back at the expansive malt base
MOUTHFEEL: Full bodied with a malt led sweetness, with a mild bitterness bringing balance
