Part of our “Pub Ale” series. This time a celebration of the darker malts available to brewers. With Brown Malt, Chocolate Malt and Black Malt all bringing complex malt flavours and aromas to the beer. Think bitter chocolate, light roast coffee and rich tea biscuits. This is backed up with the usual pub ale addition of Bramling Cross hops, which bring notes of hedgerow and brambles to the nose and provide a pleasing lingering bitterness.

AROMA: Light roast coffee, dark chocolate and biscuits
TASTE: Chewy malt complexity, with malty biscuit overtones
MOUTHFEEL: Initial dark malt bitterness gives way to smooth rounded bitterness
